A few simple rules:
1- There is no such thing as " No Pain, No Gain" If something is painful, STOP and take a sip of your beverage. Relax. We don't do it if it causes us to be uncomfortable. Simply relax and wait for the next movement or try modifying for comfort.
2- You will be able to carry on a conversation while doing our movements. We focus on RELAXATION and gently stretching our bodies while doing some proper breathing.
3- Moaning and Groaning are perfectly acceptable and even encouraged. Sometimes a good healthy MOAN with your stretch can release muscles that are challenging. We do it all of the time and it makes us laugh....which can and will release tension and anxiety almost instantly. Laughter is the best medicine as we all know.
4- You can modify ANY of our movements for your comfort. If a seated position causes discomfort, try another seated position in it's place. For instance, if cross legged sitting is uncomfortable, try sitting with both legs straight in front of you.
5- The ONLY GOAL is to stretch out your entire body to energize and get ready for your day or wind down and prepare for sleeping. Join us to RELAX with calm breathing and smooth stretching and give your body some self-love creating flexibility, strength and peace.
6- You don't have to put on makeup, do your hair, have fancy yoga clothes or go to a gym or yoga studio . You can do these workouts anytime, anywhere! We do them at the pool sometimes, in the rec room, sometimes I do them in my living room .. We had to do them in our RVs when it was cold this winter, YES, you can even do these exercises in small spaces in an RV or camper!
